Fallen Coin (Latin name: Habenaria aitchisonii Rchb. f.) , also known as Yeluo Coin, etc., is a perennial herb of the orchid Habenaria. The plant is 12-33 centimeters tall. The tuber is fleshy, oblong or elliptical, 1-2.5 cm long, and 0.8-1.5 cm in diameter. The stem is erect, cylindrical, pubescent with papillae like hairs, with 2 nearly opposite leaves at the base, without or with 1-5 sheath like bracts above the leaves. The leaves of this plant are basal, overlapping and tightly inlaid in a round shape, resembling copper coins, hence the names’ Landing Money ‘and’ Night Falling Money ‘.
