Tropaeolum majus L.

Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus L.) is a creeping annual herb of the genus Nasturtium in the Nasturtaceae family.

Nasturtium‘s flowers are golden yellow, and the leaves are shaped like lotus leaves, but it grows in the soil, so it is called nasturtium. Nasturtium is native to Peru, Brazil and other places in South America, and is now cultivated in many places in China.

Nasturtium likes a warm, humid, sunny climate, is not resistant to fertilizers, is afraid of cold, avoids waterlogging, has a strong sex, is easy to cultivate, and likes loose, fertile loam with strong permeability. Nasturtiums are propagated by seed and cuttings.
