Hibiscus does not have strict requirements on the soil. Generally, it can be planted in the open space in front of and behind the house, on hillsides, and in corner wasteland. It can also be planted as a hedge in a single row around vegetable fields and orchards, or planted in patches for specialized production.

Hibiscus is a perennial shrub that grows fast and can be planted for one year and harvested for many years. In order to obtain a higher yield and facilitate field management and flower harvesting, a single row of ridges can be used for cultivation, with a ridge spacing of 110-120 cm, a plant spacing of 50-60 cm, and planting holes or planting furrows in the middle of the ridges. When hibiscus is transplanted and planted, sufficient basal fertilizer should be applied when planting or in the planting ditch.

Generally, garbage soil or decomposed manure and other farmyard manures are used as the main fertilizer, and a small amount of compound fertilizer is applied together. Can be done during a rainy growing season. When transplanting, part of the branches and leaves should be cut off to facilitate survival. After planting, root-fixing water should be poured once, and the soil should be kept moist until it survives.
